l of us who enjoy these hounds are lovers of the great out doors. If this was not so we would not be reading this web site. There's something to the smell of the land and the cool moist earth that captivates us and lures us to the chase. We itch to get away from the job, snatch up the hounds and make for the bush where a merry little beagle can be spent: yet it fades all too rapidly and before we are home we are planning another trip. What is there penned up inside us that makes us feel and act as we do? But we know it's there! We enjoy all seasons but when fall comes and the hounds are eager, that mysterious "something" prods us more than ever and we jus can't get away fast enough and rush off halfcocked forgetting everything we have left behind.
